VoirUgears is pleased to offer a unique car model for Harry Potter fans: the flying AngliaTM Ford, a car with a personality of its own. The Anglia is a faithful reproduction of the Weasleys‘ enchanted Muggle car. Kids will be thrilled to fly it through the air or pretend to race on a track just before the Hogwarts Express. Who can forget the scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in which Harry and Ron enter Hogwarts in Anglia, before losing control and crash–landing in the Whomping Willow? After narrowly escaping, the young wizards and all their belongings are ejected by the car, upset by the mistreatment it has suffered. The Ford Anglia volanteTM Ugears features a spring drive that transmits torque to the rear wheels, providing the driving power. The car can travel 3 to 4 meters with a single winding of the ratchet mechanism located on the chassis. The spring drum is safely stored under the car seats, while the authentic rear license plate acts as a start/stop button. There is also a neutral center that allows the car to drive freely.
The front wheels rotate 25 degrees in each direction and can be turned using the steering wheel or by pressing the wheels themselves, allowing the car to move in a straight line or turn in circles (it‘s up to you to make the Anglia fly!). The car rolls on any flat surface, from carpet to slippery tiles, thanks to the elastic band “tires“ that surround all the wheels. You can manually open the doors, trunk and hood of the flying Ford AngliaTM. The open hood exposes the details of the engine, while the trunk is large enough to accommodate Harry‘s suitcases, with the laser–engraved Hogwarts crest. But that‘s where the magic happens: thanks to a special mechanism attached to the spring shaft that runs through the cabin, the Anglia has a secret “ejection“ function. When the front number plate is pressed, the trunk and side doors open, while the tilting front seats and a lever in the trunk dramatically throw all passengers and vehicle contents into the cockpit. Place Harry‘s suitcases in the trunk, press the front plate and watch as they are unceremoniously ejected by the angry Anglia!
