Ugears Spiral Palan - mechanical and modular ball course

The Spiral Palan is the fourth part of the famous collection of Ugears logs. This precision model combines two types of lifts to create a fluid and engaging movement cycle. A real engineering challenge, this 3D puzzle transforms kinetic movement into a captivating visual spectacle, ideal for sublimating a work or life space.

Lifting mechanism and dynamic descent

The model is based on a complex elevator system and a series of obstacles studied:

• Double lifting system: The machine uses spiral and vertical rails. A manual crank allows to lift the balls (a ball every nine revolutions) to a higher storage tank.
• Three descent sections: Once at the top, the balls pass through a fast slide, a winding vertical snake and a "mountain river" for a rhythmic end of the course.
• Flow management: A weight switch at the end of the circuit allows to redirect the balls to the start or to another connected module.

Modularity and Collection Ecosystem

The spiral palan was designed to fit into a larger set:

• Total interconnection: Thanks to the special connectors included, you can connect this model to the three other tracks in the range (Line, Floors, Gradins).
• Giant course: By connecting up to four models, you create a complex firm circuit operated by a single source of movement.
